Partner With Us

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Kaleidoscope would love to partner with you to make our community a better place for our local families and students. Below are the ways in which you can do this.

Join Our Board

The Kaleidoscope Board is looking for additional members.  

Here is some information to help you decide if you can be a board member:

  • Board membership is open to any member of the community—you just need to commit to attending the meetings throughout the year and be ready to help guide Kaleidoscope’s future.

  • We meet every other month—only 6 meetings a year.

  • All meetings are held virtually over Zoom with one meeting each year in person— most of the time you don’t even need to leave your house.

  • Meetings are at 6 PM on the second Thursday of the month—and usually only last an hour at most.

  • Members have 3 year terms starting in August—but you can join the board at any time.  Today is a good day to join!

Teach for Us

Kaleidoscope loves to tap local talent to teach classes at our L'Anse and Hancock locations.

Instructor positions are part time--each class meets just once per week, though many instructors teach more than one class. Classes are offered during the day for homeschooled students and after school for everyone. 

Subjects instructors are needed for include, but are not limited to:

  • foreign language (both locations)
  • dance (L'Anse only)

Volunteer for Us

Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you looking for community services opportunities? Do you have an area of expertise you simply enjoy sharing with students now and then? Here are some ways volunteers can help at Kaleidoscope:

  • Assist with special programs or events, such as
  • Be a guest speaker or instructor in one of our classes
  • Present at and lead a science or art activity for a STEAM Saturday (Hancock only)
  • Host a field trip at your local business
