Summer Art Classes

This summer's arts and crafts classes include:

  • Arts and Crafts in Hancock with Ms. Mallory
  • Arts and Crafts in L'Anse with Ms. Christy
  • Handbuilt Clay in Hancock with Ms. Catherine

Summer classes are $80 for an 8-week session and are available at both Kaleidoscope Hancock and Kaleidoscope L'Anse. Sessions begin July 9th (Hancock) and July 10th (L'Anse). 

Arts and Crafts: Hancock

Get creative! Make arts and crafts inspired by nature, summer, making memories, imagination, and the great outdoors. Projects include smash books, fantasy maps, and pine needle basket weaving.

  • Tuesdays from 2:30-3:00, Level I, ages 5-9
  • Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00, Level II, ages 10+

Arts and Crafts: L'Anse

Get creative! We'll be working on 3D art, drawing, painting, watercolors, acrylics, paint pouring, scrapbooking, and stamping.

  • Wednesdays from 11:15-12:30, Level I, ages 5-9
  • Wednesdays from 1:00-2:15, Level II, ages 10+

Handbuilt Clay: Hancock

Explore the basics of hand building clay (without a pottery wheel). We will be working with slabs, coils, & pinch pots, imprinting, scoring, and smoothing. We will also experiment with some glazing techniques.

  • Tuesdays from 11:45-12:45, ages 8+
